Henry Teesdale

Based in London, Teesdale is best known for having purchased the plates for Robert Rowe’s English Atlas (1816), and reissuing them, much altered, as the New British Atlas (1829). He published a New Travelling Atlas (1830) and a New General Atlas of the World (1831). He was elected a member of the Royal Geographical Society in 1831, but had resigned by 1837.
