Manchester Magazine’, George Houstoun, corner of Mitre Tavern Passage 1755. Jackson’s English Goldsmiths’ gives him as working in 1773. Chaffer’s Gilda Aurifabrorum’ gives him in Fleet Street 1742-‘73”.
