Notes
The two upper maps are of the Barbary Coast, a term used by Europeans to refer to an area of northern Africa from Morocco to Libya; the top one shows the coast to ‘Capo Blanco’, a cape with a dangerous sandbank nearby, the bottom one shows the coast to ‘Capo de Greer’ in Morocco. At the bottom are charts of the coasts of the Canary Islands and the island of Madeira.
