A late and unrecorded Italian edition of Pirro Ligorio’s map of Belgium.

Pirro Ligorio map of the region was first published in 1557. The map itself is clearly drawn from Gilles Boileau’s map published in the same year. However, Ligorio has redrawn the map so as to put north at the top of the sheet, and the subsequent Italian editions do the same.
