A beautifully coloured map showing Central and South America. The insets at the lower edge are a topographical view of Cuzco, the capital of the Inca empire (left) and of Mexico City (right), the seat of the Aztec kings. The earliest Dutch map of South America and one of the earliest maps to show the continent of South America alone.
