The chart bears rhumb lines, compass roses, towns, roads, parishes, coastal features and dangers. It was published in two works: ‘Hydrographique francoise’; and the ‘Neptune de l’Amerique Meridionale’. There are two states of the present chart: one baring ‘No.81’ to the upper right, and ‘prix. trente sols.’ to the lower left; and the other without the text.
